The Guest House We are a small family guest house of seven rooms, all en-suite or with private facilities.  All have been carefully prepared with your comfort in mind, some of which can cater for families.  We are a non smoking establishment.   We also cater for our four legged friends.  Facilities include:- Colour TV      Tea/coffee facilities     Mini fridge     Trouser press      Hair Dryer     Alarm Clock  Emergency repair kit (needles and thread)     Shoe Cleaning     Evening Meals by arrangement Access to an iron and ironing board     Free on street Parking is available within the towns controlled parking zone. We are please to be able to say that approximately 70% of our business during 2008 was previous customers returning for another visit.  Some come every year and some two or three times a year!
The dining room After a good nights sleep, whether you are with us for business or pleasure, start the day with a hearty home cooked breakfast, or, if you prefer, cereal and toast, or perhaps a combination.  We buy our bacon from independant local butchers.  Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 9.30am.  Earlier breakfasts by arrangement. Evening meals by request. If you do not want to go to the expense of eating out and prefer to order a take away we will provide you with the plates and cutlery for you to eat in our dining room. If you are planning a day out we will be happy to put together a value for money packed lunch.
Accommodation Accommodation in The Tennyson consists of A Four poster bedroom, a ground floor twin room, 2 Double, 2 Twin and a Family suite of two interconnecting rooms.  All rooms are en suite with either bath or shower rooms.
