            The Guest House

We are a small family guest house of seven rooms, all en-suite or with private facilities.  All have been carefully prepared with your comfort in mind, some of which can cater for families.  We are a non smoking establishment.   We also cater for our four legged friends.  Facilities include:-

  • Tea/coffee facilities

  • Mini fridge

  • Trouser press

  • Hair Dryer

  • Alarm Clock

  • Emergency repair kit (needles and thread)

  • Shoe Cleaning

  • Access to an iron and ironing board

  • Free on street Parking is available within the towns controlled parking zone.

The dining room

After a good nights sleep, whether you are with us for business or pleasure, start the day with a hearty home cooked breakfast, or, if you prefer, cereal and toast, or perhaps a combination.  We buy our bacon and sausages from independant local butchers.  Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 9.30am.  Earlier breakfasts by arrangement.

We offer a selection of bar meals which must be ordered on the morning that they are required and are served between 5.30pm and 9pm.

If you do not want to go to the expense of eating out and prefer to order a take away we will provide you with the plates and cutlery for you to eat in our dining room.

If you are planning a day out we will be happy to put together a value for money packed lunch.

The 2007 Tariffs for bed and breakfast are as follows:

Double or Twin En-suite per person per night from £26.00.

Special occasion suite with Four poster bed from £27.50 per person per night.

Single per person per night (shared facilities) £26.00

Children under 12 £13.00 per person per night

Single Occupancy of Twin/Double incurs a supplement dependant on season and weekday or week end.

Reduced rates for bookings of 3 nights or more.

Senior Citizens reduced rates between October and June.
